Hi Gerald,My husband's family are the Carrolls who Sarah Bowman 2nd wife of Fielding Lowe was married to Morton Carroll,Sr originally from Anderson County,Tenn. Fielding Lowe was in the Rev. War I think and the government paid him in land 5,000 acres for his service. This land is on Stinking Creek Road 2nd exit after you come up Jellico Mountain.
