ELLIS R. - age 86, a resident of Oliver Springs, PERRY, LAWRENCE - age 86 of Lake City, LEVINE, JEANETTE - age 97 of LaFollette, Tenn., passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004. Friends can call at their convenience after 1 p.m. November 21, 2004 at Hatmaker Funeral Home. Graveside service 10 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2004 Leach Cemetery, Lake City, Tenn. Hatmaker Funeral Home, Lake City, in charge of arrangements. PATTERSON, REV. ELLIS R. - age 86, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2004 at his home. He was born July 25, 1918 on New River in Anderson County, Tenn. He was ordained as a Baptist minister on February 22, 1948 and pastored Community Baptist Church in Oliver Springs for 29 years. In addition to his ministry, he owned and operated Patterson Catering in Oak Ridge for over 30 years. Rev. Patterson was preceded in death by his parents, Fowler Hatfield Patterson & Arizona Daugherty Patterson Jones; and by a brother, Frank Patterson. Survivors: wife of 36 years, Margaret Taylor Patterson of Oliver Springs; sons, Fowler "F.H." Patterson & wife, Mary of Oliver Springs, Frank Patterson & wife, Norma of Rock Hill, SC; daughters, Frances Rose & husband, Jack of Corinth, Ky.; step sons, Mike Rather & wife, Michelle of Oliver Springs, Keith Rather & wife, Eva of Oliver Springs; step daughter, Missy Morgan & husband, Chuck of Oliver Springs; 14 grandchildren; special friends, Gary Hester of Oliver Springs, Eddie O'Donald of Harriman. The family received friends Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home between the hours of 6-8 p.m. with funeral service following with Rev. Bob Lamon & Rev. Ray Buchannon officiating. Burial and graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2004 at Anderson Memorial Gardens. Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs in charge of all arrangements. PERRY, LAWRENCE - age 86 of Lake City, passed away Friday, November 19, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tenn. He and his wife, Opal Williams Perry were married for 58 years until her death. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church in Briceville, Tenn. He was born February 19, 1918 in McCreary County, Ky. He was in the Army Air Corps where he served in the 11th Bombardment Group in the South Pacific. Preceded in death by wife, Opal Williams Perry; parents, Adam Perry and Laura Kidd Perry of Ky.; sister, Elsie Sumner; and brothers, Rosco, Elmer, Lester and Kenneth Perry. Survivors: daughter, MaryLee and husband, Bobby Hooks of Lake City; brother, Dewey Perry; sisters, Sue Carroll, Tucker, Ky., Lucille Perry, Okla.; sister in law, Ovida Williams of Seymour; several special nieces and nephews and special pet, Cricket.
