CORA ANNE - age 104 of LaFollette GOODMAN, FRED PATRICK - age 79 of Devonia, HAMPTON, SHASTA JEAN - age 16, of Oliver Springs MOODY, GRACE PRATER - age 95, of Powell, GOINS, MRS. CORA ANNE - age 104 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004, at Sunbridge Health and Rehabilitation Center of LaFollette. She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Goins, parents John and Martha Bailey, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and 1 grandson. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Boyd Goins and wife, Jean of LaFollette and Everette Goins and wife, Wilma of Jacksboro; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 3 great grandsons; 4 great granddaughters and 2 great-great granddaughters; her sister, Nora Monday of Oliver Springs; several other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday 7 P.M. with Rev. Charles Jack Goins officiating. The family will meet Saturday from 5 to 7 P.M. prior to funeral services. Interment 10 A.M. at the Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will be pallbearers. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Cora Anne Goins. GOODMAN, FRED PATRICK - age 79 of Devonia, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004. Born November 13, 1924, he was the third son of Finley and Oshia Patterson Goodman. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and Free Communion Baptist Church. Goodman was a retired coal miner and an avid farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by wife of 56 years, Billie Jo Goodman, Devonia, TN.; daughter, Kathy Burchfield, Oak Ridge, TN; son, Keith Goodman, Devonia, TN; mother-in-law, Hazel Phillips, Oak Ridge, TN; brother & sister-in-law, Jay & Bobbie Coday, Lake City, TN; grandchildren, Kim Seiber & husband Doyle, Clinton, TN, Chrissy Goodman & boyfriend John Jones, Knoxville, TN, Joe Burchfield, Nashville, TN. He was also recently blessed with two great- granddaughters, Marli Jones and Allison Seiber, both of whom were the joy of his life. Goodman is also survived by two very special extended family members, Rosemary Goodman of Oak Ridge and Gary Burchfield of Coalfield. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. HAMPTON, SHASTA JEAN - age 16, of Oliver Springs passed away Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Children's Hospital in Knoxville after a brief illness. She was born September 20, 1988 in Oak Ridge. She attended Norwood Elementary School and also Oliver Springs High School during her freshman year. She was presently being home schooled by her mother. Survivors: mother, Jacqueline Randall of Oliver Springs; father, Tommy Hampton of Clinton; sister, Page Vann & husband, Adam of Oliver Springs; brother, Mitchell Bowles of Oliver Springs; paternal grandparents, Arbie Hampton of Rockwood, Joyce Ridenour of Rockwood; maternal grandparents, Jack Page of Las Vegas, Nevada, Juanita Hollard & husband, Max of Rockwood; special nieces, Karrie Vann & Christian Vann of Oliver Springs; special friends, Brent Smith & Johnny Pearson; A host of extended family and friends. The family will receive friend's 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 13, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home with funeral service following the visitation at 8:00 pm, in the chapel with Rev. Mack Smith officiating. Burial and graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Sunday afternoon at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. She was a member of the Claxton Church of God. Preceded in death by husband, J. L. Moody; sons, Jimmie & Earl Moody; parents, Dowell & Etta Biddle Prater; sons-in-law, Jim Dodson & Howard Shelton. Survivors: Daughters, Juanita Shelton of Spokane, WA, Sandra Dodson of Knoxville; sons, Ralph Moody & wife, Betty of Claxton, Jerry Moody & wife, Hazel of Claxton, Gene Moody & wife, Patricia of Claxton, David Moody & wife, Debbie of Claxton; daughters-in-law, Shirley Moody McCarter of Claxton, Jeanette Moody of Powell; 28 grandchildren; 42 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; special niece, Jennie Mae Reynolds of Knoxville. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 14, 2004 from 6 to 8 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. David Simmons & Rev. Charles Young officiating. Interment will be Monday, November 15th at 11:00 AM at Bells Campground Cemetery.
