SINGLETON, GERTRUDE "TRUDY" - of Clinton, TN, McCULLEY, LARRY EUGENE - age 50 of Clinton, TN. passed away Wednesday November 3, 2004 at his residence in Clinton, TN. Larry was a member of Second Baptist Church of Clinton, TN. He was a loving husband & father, his family was most important to him. Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 2 tours in Vietnam. Larry was preceded in death by his parents James & Pauline McCulley; & brother, Donald McCulley. Survivors: wife, Karin McCulley of Clinton, TN; daughter: Kayla Grace McCulley of Clinton, TN; step sons: Sean Paul LeMay of Maryville, TN., Chad Alexander LeMay of Clinton, TN; brother: Ronald McCulley of Clinton, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 5, 2004 at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN. from 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 6, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with the Rev. Michael Thompson officiating. The interment will follow the funeral service at the Ponds Cemetery in Caryville, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton TN, in charge of all arrangements. SINGLETON, GERTRUDE "TRUDY" - of Clinton, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Anderson County, Tennessee to the late Harvey and Maudie Braden Hooks. Trudy was a member of the Longfield Baptist Church where she was the organist. She retired from St. Mary's Medical Center after 28 years of loyal service. Trudy was a member of the Eastern Star. She loved singing, playing the accordion, traveling and spending time with her family whom she loved very much. Trudy is preceded in death by: her parents and brother, Lloyd Hooks. Survivors: husband, Lawrence "Shorty" Singleton, Clinton, TN; son, Victor Carter, Coalfield, TN; brothers, Bobbie & Marylee Hooks, Lake City, TN, Bill & Jewel Hooks, Clinton, TN; sisters, Betty & Bob Hilditch, Ocala, FL, Rosemary & Jim Adkins, Crossville, TN; granddaughter, Amber Grimsley; great grandchildren, Malachi and Lydia Grimsley; nephews, Roger, Dana, Danny, David and Wally; special uncle, Issac Braden; special cousin, Lillian Hooks. Visitation 6-8:00 pm Thursday, November 4, 2004 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral service, 8:00 pm Thursday, November 4, 2004 in the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Foust and Rev. David Triplett officiating. Interment 11:00 am Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Indian Bluff Cemetery in Briceville, TN.
