From The Oak Ridger 11 Nov 2003 Lodema D. Somers, 89, formerly of Oak Ridge, Dorothy "Dot" Aileen Wilmoth, 75, of Oak Ridge, Marion W. Craven, 90, of Oak Ridge, Ray Ensor Swallows, 87, of the Dodson Chapel community in Overton Lodema D. Somers, 89, of Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville, Pa., and formerly of Oak Ridge, died Monday Nov. 9, 2004, at her residence. Born Dec. 1, 1914, in Eden, N.Y., she was the daughter of William George and Annie Margaret Moyer Daggett. Mrs. Somers was formerly a home economics teacher in Oak Ridge. She graduated in 1936 from Buffalo State Teacher's College. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Drs. William and Nancy Somers of Cogan Station, Pa.; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dr. Fred Williams of Blairsville, Ga.; six grandchildren, Derek Anderson, Matthew Anderson, Andrew Somers, Dr. Michael Somers, Emma Somers and Kathryn Somers; and by a great-grandson, Alex Anderson. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Boyd Carter officiating. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. An online register book is available at www.martinoakridgefuneralhome.com. Dorothy "Dot" Aileen Wilmoth, 75, of Oak Ridge, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Windwood Health and Rehab Center in Clinton. Born on April 15, 1929, in Knoxville, she was the daughter of Raymond Johnson and Irene Alton Johnson Perkins. Mrs. Wilmoth was a homemaker and a member of Royce Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph Wilmoth on Nov. 13, 1992, and her brothers, Kenny Johnson in 1999 and Ray Johnson in 1992. Mrs. Wilmoth is survived by her daughters, Nancy Smith and husband, Darrell, and Karen Beeler and husband, Milton, all of Oak Ridge; her brother, Gene Johnson and wife, Sue, of Clinton; her sisters-in-law, Sumiko Johnson and her two children of McKinney, Texas, and Freda Joyce and husband, Leroy, of Eden, N.C. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tina Smith McCoy and husband, Charles, of Oak Ridge, Shannon Smith of Fort Knox, Ky., and Tiffany Beeler and Allison Beeler, both of Oak Ridge; and great-grandchildren, Dakota Smith of Manchester and Bailey Smith of Oak Ridge.
