JOHN WAYNE - age 68 of Harriman, MORGAN, MARY AGNES - age 67, of Clinton, DESMARAIS, PHILIP O., JR. - age 78, of Norris, passed away Monday, November 1, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Hospital. He was veteran of the United States Navy and also a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Knoxville. Preceded in death by parents, Philip DesMarais Sr., & Grace Irwin DesMarais. Survivors: wife of 52 years, Mary Elizabeth DesMarais of Norris; son, Philip DesMarais III & wife Jackie of Norris; grandsons, Christopher DesMarais of Norris, Brandon Reise of Los Angeles; brother, Robert DesMarais & wife Yvonne of Bradenton, FL. The family will receive friends 9:00-10:00 AM Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at St. James Episcopal Church in Knoxville with a memorial service following at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Helping Hands c/o St. James Episcopal Church in Knoxville. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. HARMON, MR. JOHN WAYNE - age 68 of Harriman, passed away Sunday morning October 31, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center. in Oak Ridge. He worked for many years as the Superintendent of the Roane County Park. He was also a member of Riverside Baptist Church, Southgate Lodge #569 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Kerbella Shrine Temple and the Roane County Shrine Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sim Edgar and Lucy Jenkins Harmon; and one brother, Carl Harmon. He is survived by his wife, Norma Jane Harmon; two sons, C.W. and Jimmy Harmon; one grandson, Chris Harmon all of Harriman; two brothers, Warren "Ginnie" Harmon of Chattanooga and Charles "Cotton" Harmon of Harriman; one sister, Lucille Will of Kirkwood, Mo.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday November 7, 2004 at Riverside Baptist Church in Harriman with Rev. Mason Goodman officiating. with a Masonic service to follow. Arrangements by Davis Funeral Home of Harriman. MORGAN, MARY AGNES - age 67, of Clinton, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, John Wesley & Myrtle Easley Jones; & brothers, Bruce & Cecil Jones. Survivors: husband of 49 years, Johnny Ray Morgan of Clinton; daughter, Donna Kay Wice & husband Michael of Bean Station; sons, David Ray Morgan of Knoxville, Darrell Wayne Morgan of Charleston; brothers, James "Shorty" Jones & wife Lou of Michigan, Ray Harris Jones & wife Lorene of Michigan, Billy Reece Jones & wife Thelma of Rutledge, Fred "Tony" Jones & wife Ruth of Rutledge, grandchildren, Jeremy & Heather Wice of Bean Station, Danyell Morgan of Charleston; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at New Salem Baptist Church with funeral services following with Rev. Mark Gallaher officiating. The burial will be 2:00 pm, Sunday at Anderson Memorial Garden.
