JAMES E. - age 66 of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Community Baptist Church, Griffin, GA and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by: wife, Mae Housley; parents, Harley and Bell Housley; sisters, Mary Nelson, Viretta Crisp, Geneva Edmond and Wilma Jean Housley. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Arlene (Jane) Kennedy Housley of LaFollette; daughters, Lesa Albright of Griffin, GA, Andrea Storm and husband, Carl and Gina Woods and husband, Garry all of Williamson, GA, and Clara Dacko of Conyers, GA; step- children, Mark Kennedy and wife, Mellissa of Columbus, OH, Judy Brewer and husband, Waburn of Enola, AR, Diane Daugherty of St. Louis, MO, Kenneth Kennedy and wife, Angel of LaFollette, Ron Kennedy of Dixon, IL, Omey Kennedy of Chatsworth, GA, and Dewey Kennedy of Lake City, TN; former wife, Delores Dickens of Griffin, GA; six grandchildren; 24 step grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and 9 step great- grandchildren; sisters, Betty White and husband Leon, and Louise Green all of LaFollette; brothers, Ernie Housley and wife, Reda of Fayetteville, GA, and Burgin Housley and wife, Pat of Jacksboro; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Wednesday 11 a.m. at Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Howard Goins officiating. Interment Well Springs Cemetery. Rev. Housley will be moved to the Church 1 hour before services. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Walters Funeral Home. Preceded in death by: her husband of 46 years, William Clifton Leonhardt, Jr.; son, William David Leonhardt; and parents, Harold Herbert and Emma Neal. Genny was a lifelong resident of Caryville, TN. She graduated from Jacksboro High School with honors. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Caryville ##415, and member of Caryville Methodist Church. Genny retired as and Administrative Assistant for Campbell County Judge Jack Alexander and had the distinction of being acting Judge for three months to fill Judge Alexander's unexpired term due to his illness. Survivors: sisters, Mrs. Virginia Lee and husband Elmer, Barbara Davis and husband Richard; nieces, Beth Palmer, Cindy Bryant and Lori Byrne; nephew, Scott Lee; great-nieces, Peyton Palmer and Kiley Byrne; great-nephews, Tanner Lee, Preston, Parker, Pryce Palmer, Sean and Ryan Byrne. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2004 from 12 noon till 2 p.m. at Cross Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Rev. He was a member of LaFollette Church of God and retired from Pinkerton Tobacco Co. Preceded in death by: parents, Bob and Hannah Jane (Walters) Meadors. He is survived by: his wife, Pauline Meadors, LaFollette; daughters, Elizabeth Jones, LaFollette, Sandra Cecila Meadors, Logansport, IN; 2 grandchildren. Funeral service 8 p.m. Wed., Nov. 3, at Cross Chapel, Rev. Norman Stalling officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunrise Cemetery.
