She was a long time resident of Oak Ridge, having moved here in 1943 with her husband and family from Chattanooga, TN. She was born in Blount County, TN and grew up in Knoxville, TN. She was active in the First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. Bonnie loved flower gardening and wild flowers. A favorite hobby was genealogy. She and her husband spent many enjoyable hours tracing their family histories. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. Preceded in death by: her husband of 69 years, Alonzo Kelton Stansberry; infant son Alonzo Jr.; father, J. W. Dudley; mother, Bertha Dudley; brothers, Curtis Dudley and Jay Dudley; and sister, Nina Wright. She is survived by: her four sons, James R. and wife Linda of Clinton, Jerome D. of Oak Ridge, Charles T. and wife Sue of Oak Ridge, David L. and wife Marilyn of Charlotte, TN. Also survived by: eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Lee of Orlando, FL.; brother, Boyd Dudley and wife Jane of Knoxville; and by special friend, Roberta Newsom of Phoenix, AL.
