From the Knoxville News Sentinel 22 Nov 2004 ARTMAN, JAMES O. - 95, Norris, TN ARTMAN, JAMES O. - 95, long time Norris, TN resident, died peacefully after a brief illness, November 19, 2004 in Apex, North Carolina where he lived with grandson, Dr. Michael Artman, his wife and three sons. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary "Bid" Bailey Artman; and sons, Joel and Jerry Artman. He is survived by: his son, James B. Artman and wife Lisa of Euless, Texas; grandsons, David, Michael, and Ryan Artman; and granddaughters, Janet LaPrade and Jennifer Oriente. Also surviving are six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Norris Religious Fellowship, P.O. Box 267, Norris, TN 37828. A memorial service will be held at a late date in Norris to celebrate his life.
