Hello List! I'm on the hunt again. I came across some very intriguing information that I didn't know about one of my Wright lines. Apparently Charley P. Wright shot and killed his sister-in-law Sophia Hatmaker in June 1932. After her death, Mattie Hatmaker, her sister, took in her daughter Mary Ann and raised her (Mary Ann later married a Jesse Roderick). I am hoping someone has access to the June 1932 newspaper and could maybe look up the incident to verify this information. Sophia had been married twice so her married name could be either Crabtree or Higgins according to the family tree I'd found. I checked for the death certificate in my Campbell books and she wasn't listed. Any help would be deeply appreciated! A Wright Researcher : Primarily Campbell County, Tennessee
