He married Hannah Britt b. abt 1745, Goochland Co, VA, d. Abt. 1807 M. January 02, 1768, Goochland Co, VA. I have three children for them, John Longmire married to Nancy Marshall, Mary 'Polly' Longmire married Nelson N. Duke (I have researched this line and have more info on them) and Elijah Longmire, Sr., who married Mary 'Polly' Moss. Elijah Longmire, Sr. was b. July 15, 1777, Lunenburg Co, VA, d. February 07, 1849, Anderson Co, TN, married Mary 'Polly' Moss b. March 19, 1786, Nut Bush Creek, Granville Co, NC, d. January 01, 1862, Anderson Co, TN, m. May 25, 1803, Granville Co, NC, parents were Reubin Benjamin Morse/Moss and Martha 'Polly' Ann Jordan from Williamsburg, Granville Co, NC. I have nine children for them. 1. Robert Longmire b. 1806, Anderson Co, TN d. 1849, Campbell Co, TN, married Sarah 'Sallie' Sharp, b. 1810, Union Co, TN, d. Feb 15, 1888, Union Co, TN, Parents were Conrad Sharp and Sarah Gibbs. I don't have a marriage date but I do have 9 children for them. No other info 2. William Henderson Longmire, January 28, 1808, Anderson Co, TN, d. May 23, 1882, Anderson Co, TN, Married Sciota Hibbs, b. April 06, 1817, Anderson Co, TN, d. September 30, 1884, ANderson Co, TN. I don't have any marriage info on them and only one child for them. No other info 3. Elijah Longmire, Jr., b. 1812, Campbell Co, TN, d. 1836, near Andersonville, Anderson Co, TN, Married Mahalah Hancock. One child and no other info. 4. Elizabeth Longmire, b. 1816, Campbell Co, TN, Married James Wallace. No other info. 5. Reuben Moss Longmire, b. February 19, 1817, Campbell Co, Tn, d. September 09, 1857, Anderson Co, Tn, buried Old Clinton Baptish Church Cemetery, Clinton, Anderson Co, TN, Married Elizabeth Wallace, b. April 17, 1819, Anderson Co, TN, d. July 26, 1896. No other info. 6. Louisa Jane Longmire, b. May 08, 1819, Campbell Co, TN. No other info. 7. Martha Longmire, b. 1820, Campbell Co, TN. No other info 8. Marcellus Longmire, b.
