From The Knoxville News Sentinel 24 May 2004 HARRIS, BOBBIE - 78, a resident of Oliver Springs, ROBBINS, GLEN EDWARD "BLACK MOUSEY" - age 67, of Nephi, Utah, WASHBURN, MONTANA - age 78 of Coalfield, HARRIS, BOBBIE - 78, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday, May 21, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital. Mrs. Harris was born June 16, 1925 in Sneedville, Tenn. She moved to Oak Ridge in 1945, and on to Oliver Springs in 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Royston and Ora Brewer Royston; by a brother, Venus Royston and by a sister, Stella Royston. Mrs. Harris was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was very dedicated to her family. She considered spending time with her grandchildren as very special time. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church for 52 years. She worked in the church nursery and served on the food committee. Survivors: husband of 57 years, Rembert Harris of Oliver Springs; son, Ernest Rembert Harris and wife, Linda of Knoxville; daughter, Gayle Campbell and husband, Jack of Farragut; grandchildren, Melissa Harris Schweitzer and husband, Seth, Michelle Harris Robinson and husband, William, Christie Campbell Sheffield and husband, Kevin; great grandchildren, Lindsey Brook Wright, Chloe Ashwini Wright, Lillian Jolie Schweitzer, William Franklin Henry Robinson; sister in law, Stella Royston of Sneedville. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Robinson, III and his staff. The family will receive friends Monday, May 24, 2004 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Home with funeral services following with Pastor Garvan Walls and Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday May 25, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. ROBBINS, GLEN EDWARD "BLACK MOUSEY" - age 67, of Nephi, Utah, and formerly of the Solway Community, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at home with his family. Born October 24, 1936 in Solway, the son of Harrison E. and Hettie Irene Raby Robbins. Served with the US Army for about ten years. Enjoyed fishing and camping. He made friends with everyone he met and he was a joy to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Weber, Tiffany and Beverly for their kindness and caring during his last few months of life. Survived by: ex-wife, Alice Barney, who took care of him until he passed away; son, John Montgomery and wife Mary of Arizona; daughters, Ruth Petter and husband Vince, Elizabeth Robbins and husband Dave, Patricia Chick and husband Ken, and Jackie Robbins, all of Utah; brother, William G. Robbins and wife Janice of Oak Ridge; sisters, Ruth Stone of Alabama, Ruby Cox of Utah, Vivian Ferrell and husband Robert of California; 14 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 25, 2004 at 8:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. David Knight officiating. Graveside services are Wednesday at 1:00pm at the Solway Church of God with military honors by the Volunteer State War Era Honor Guard. WASHBURN, MONTANA - age 78 of Coalfield, passed away May 8, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospice. She was born December 7, 1925 in Morgan County. Preceded in death by husband, Hayes W. Ridge. Survivors: daughters, Montie Sue Olmstead & Mona Ridge Colley. Graveside services were held May 10, 2004 at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
