    2. Yes, I've checked it. John Smyth, son of Tobias L. Smyth, was wounded on an expedition against the Indians. He came home wounded and ill and requested his brother, Jonas, to bury him in a certain spot, which later became Smyth's Chapel Cemetery. A Methodist Church stands near by, known as Smyth's Chapel, on a lot given by the Smyth family. I don't think he married so this family cannot come from him. John Smyth, son of Eurious Smyth, died 1 month after he was born so that leaves him out. Andrew Smyth, has a John Smyth born about 1760 and two other sons, we think, Wyatt and Andrew Smyth. They may not be from this line but trying to satisfy myself that there is no way of them being in this family. Helen
