From The Oak Ridger 21 May 2004 Phyllis Jeanette Noe Jackson, 47, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oliver Springs, Glen Edward "Black Mousey" Robbins, 67, of Nephi, Utah, and formerly of the Solway community, Donald Byrd Chambers, 67, of Clinton, Phyllis Jeanette Noe Jackson, 47, of Lenoir City, formerly of Oliver Springs, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at Fort Sanders Loudon Medical Center. Born May 20, 1956, in Harriman, she was the daughter of Edith Evelyn Noe of Oliver Springs and the Rev. Oscar Noe, now deceased. Mrs. Jackson was a 1974 graduate of Oliver Springs High School. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Oliver Springs Chapter No. 211. Her family said she was a faithful Christian, mother and grandmother. Her son, Dustin Nathan Dyer, and two grandsons, Nathan Ryan Jackson and Richard Michael Freeman, also died earlier. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, David Richard Jackson; two daughters, Stephanie Nanette Jackson and husband, Cody, and Katrina Jeanette Andrews and husband, Danny, all of Clinton; and by four stepdaughters, Patty Seiber and husband, Steve, of Coalfield, Jeanne Jackson and husband, John, of Roanoke, Va., Melinda West and husband, Mike, of Oliver Springs and Anita Norman and husband, Bill, of Oak Ridge. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Taylor Mackenzie Andrews, of Clinton; seven stepgrandchildren, Michael Jackson, Johnathan Jackson and wife, Amy, David Seiber, Cody West, Chase West, Bailey West and Jeffrey Norman; three great-grandchildren, Emma Rose Jackson, Brady Seiber and Ethan Jackson; two sisters, Nancy Armes and husband, William, and Gladys Ann Christmas and husband, Robert, all of Harriman; her brother, Charles Noe and wife, Mamie Sue, of Oliver Springs; the father of her children, David Dyer and wife, Tracy, of Clinton; and by special friends, Debbie Price and husband, Jim, and children, Brad and Travis, Crystal Groover, Faye and David Hammons and children, Christy and Brandon, and Joy Justice. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Jerry Noe and the Rev. Larry Noe officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Oliver Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Glen Edward "Black Mousey" Robbins, 67, of Nephi, Utah, and formerly of the Solway community, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at home with his family. Born Oct. 24, 1936, in Solway, he was the son of Harrison E. and Hettie Irene Raby Robbins. Mr. Robbins served with the U.S. Army for about 10 years. His family said he enjoyed fishing and camping. According to his family, Mr. Robbins made friends with everyone he met and he was a joy to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him, his family said. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Weber, Tiffany and Beverly for their kindness and caring during his last few months of his life. Mr. Robbins is survived by his ex-wife, Alice Barney, who took care of him until he passed away; his son, John Montgomery and wife, Mary, of Arizona; four daughters, Ruth Petter and husband, Vince, Elizabeth Robbins and husband, Dave, Patricia Chick and husband, Ken, and Jackie Robbins, all of Utah; his brother, William G. Robbins and wife, Janice, of Oak Ridge; three sisters, Ruth Stone of Alabama, Ruby Cox of Utah and Vivian Ferrell and husband, Robert, of California; and by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2004, at Weatherford Mortuary with the Rev. David Knight officiating. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, at Solway Church of God with military rites by the Volunteer State War Era Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary, www.weatherfordmortuary.com. Donald Byrd Chambers, 67, of Clinton, died Thursday, May 20, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
