Helen, It's actually a Kathline that I'm looking for, not Katherine -- my mistake. After my first post inquiring about her, here is what I've found during census research, and I'm assuming this is her: 1910 Campbell Co. Parret, George W., age 49, 2nd marriage, TN, TN, TN --- Alace, wife, 37, 1st marriage --- Roscoe, 7 --- Osker, 5 --- Cathline, 3 1920 Campbell Co. E.D. 50 (living outside corporation Jellico) Household 240/241 Parrott, G. W., 59 ---Sarah A., wife, 47 (Must be Sarah Alice) ---Roscoe C., 18 ---Osker W., 16 ---Catholine, dau, 12 ---Raynold(??), 4 4/12 1930 Campbell Co., District 17 -- Jellico South Main Street Household 33/36 Smith, Jeremiah, 78 --- Elizabeth, 21, granddaughter (dau. of Peter F. Smith and first wife, Rosa Williams) Moore, Betty, dau, 52, widow (husband was Tim Moore) Million, B.C., Grandson, 20, single (son of Pearnie Smith and her first husband, Beryl C. Million) Parriot, Kathelene, servant, 23, servant in private home. This is the Jeremiah Smith that you referred to. His wife was Eliza Jane Lay. They are my great-grandparents through their son, Peter F. Smith. Peter's son, Roy, is my father. I have extensive information on this family. I'm just trying to connect Kathlene to this family and find out why she was living with them. It could just be that Jeremiah was old and she was taking care of him. Although, with his daughter and granddaughter living there, I wouldn't think she would be needed for that purpose. Kristi
