Kathy: I am not descended from William Baird. A very dear friend a cousin of mine, who died of cancer 4 years ago is a descendant. She and I share common family ties through the King, Davis, and Hatfield lines out of Campbell County, Tennessee. Her other family lines from Campbell County are Baird, McNealy and Johnson. I am doing some research for her children and her brothers and sisters on the Baird line.
