    3. Oooh ... we definitely need to talk about this. I've already done a bit of research in original records in Orange Co., NC. in the 1750-1775 time period. I originally hoped that I would find my ancestors Ericus Smith/Bridget Anderson there between some point between 1758 and 1774, but I didn't. The reason I looked there is because the family of Peter Anderson, father to Bridget Anderson, did go to Orange Co., NC, when they left Wilmington, DE, in the 1750's. They end up migrating to Washington Co., VA, in time for the Revolution ... the Anderson family as well as Ericus Smith/Bridget Anderson. I will contact Lynda Smith ... how exciting. Meanwhile, I am also interested in the early Smiths of Jellico ... in my mind I call them the Ewell Smiths because that's the most unusual first name in the bunch. Leslie
