Bradshaw, age 79 of LaFollette died May 14 at the U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a deacon and member of West LaFollette Baptist Church for 50 years. He was very active in the ministry for the Lord and the people and retired from ORTEC in the field of electronics. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Golda Vowell Bradshaw; brother and sister-in-law, Therlo and Edna Bradshaw and brother-in-law: J.D. Hill. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Anna Bradshaw; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Faye Bradshaw all of LaFollette; granddaughter and husband, Donna and Scott Wallace; great granddaughter, Hannah Wallace all of Jacksboro; brother and sister-in-law, James E. and Rose Bradshaw of Clinton; brother, Kenneth Bradshaw of Atlanta, GA; sister, Wilma Hill of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services were May 16 at the West LaFollette Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn Ray, Rev. Hobert McCreary and Brother Jerry Crutchfield officiating. Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Betty Jean Bourff Ford age 73 of West Chester, OH formerly of LaFollette May 13, in Cincinnati, OH. She was born April 5, 1931. She was a nurse's aid and longtime employee of Bonnie's Nursing Home. Preceded in death by her parents Rome and Nora Heatherly Bourff; brother, L. D. Bourff. Survivors include her children, Wanda Frederick and husband, Ronald, Roger Ford and wife, Karen, Jerry Ford, and Danny Ford and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Kenneth and Matthew Ford; brothers, M.C. Bourff, J. P. Bourff, and Sonny Bourff; sister, Susie Terry; several nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services were May 17 at the Hodapp Funeral Home in West Chester, OH interment to follow at the West Chester Township Cemetery. Eva Louise Gross, age 87 of Lake City died May 13 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born December 5, 1916 in Campbell County to the late John and Martha Gaylor. She was a member of Longfield Baptist Church in Lake City where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved flower gardening. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Gaylor, first husband, Clyde Wilson, second husband of 41 years, Thomas Gross Sr.; son, Joe Mac Gross; two grandsons; two great grandsons; brothers, Kermit Duncan, James B. Duncan; sisters, Mildred Hutson, Phyllis Sharp and Lucille Champion. Survivors include her daughters, Clydene Daniels Livengood and husband, Hal, of Knoxville, Ruth Ellen Mitchell and husband, Jim, of New Hampshire; son, Thomas "Sonny" Gross, Jr. and wife, Pat; brothers, Thomas Duncan of Knoxville and Dewayne Duncan of Ohio; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Pallbearers were her grandsons. Henrietta "Boots" Hughes, age 67 of Sidney, Oh died May 6 of natural causes. She was born July 23, 1936 in Eagan, TN to the late Brown Lee and Hattie Partin Osborne. She married Robert Hughes on June 23, 1962. She was a member of the AMVETS Post 1986 of Sidney, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4239 and American Legion Post 217, Sidney. She was retired from Copeland Corp. after 29 years. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah and husband, Lloyd Taylor of Sidney, Oh, Donna and husband, Michael Erbaugh, of Sidney; grandchildren, Bob Hughes, Troy Scott Perry, Derrick Perry, of Sidney, Leah Hughes of Sidney, Tara Hughes of Houston, Shauna Perry of Sidney; great grandchild, Luke Perry of Sidney; sisters, Jean Gibbs of LaFollette, Roxie Marlow of Clairfield, Vaude "Bobby" Lawson of Sidney, Della Sharp of Vandalia. Everett Edgar Harmon age 66 of Jacksboro died May 17 at the East TN Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. He was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Harmon, granddaughter Summer Kennedy, parents, Ernest and Beulah Collins Harmon, sister, Thelma Maxwell. Survived include her daughters and sons in law, Susan and Darryl Kennedy of LaFollette; Amy and Scott Seal of Jacksboro; Sandra and Hubert Kitts of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Brandon and Alicia Seals of Jacksboro, Macy Ellison of LaFollette; sister, Lorraine Carroll of LaFollette. Martin Wilson Funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Delta Rebus Johnson, age 72, of Ypsilanti, Mi died May 15. She was born in McQuery County, Ky. She was of the Church of God faith. She loved spending time with her family and friends and singing in Church. Preceded in death by her parents, James Lectie Johnson; brothers, Alvin A. Johnson and Haskel J. Johnson; sisters, Dorothy M. Johnson, Alpha L. Hines and Betty J. Johnson. Survivors include her sister, Hassie Thompson of Ypsilanti, Mi and Agnes Wallace of Jacksboro; a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held May 22 at 2 p.m. at the Huntsville Praise and Worship Center in Huntsville, Tn with Brother Ralph Combs officiating. J.C. Mallicote, age 71 of LaFollette died May 11. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and sports. Preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Vivian Gothard Mallicote. Survived include his wife of 34 years ,Gladys Mallicote of LaFollette; son, Ronnie Penley of LaFollette; daughters and sons in law: Norma and Ed Hatfield, Jackie and Bill Snider, Debbie and Dave McLean, Teresa and Mike Thorton all of Cincinnati, Ohio. 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brothers: Virgil and Roy Malicote both of Jim Branch, TN and Carl Malicote of Habersham; sisters, Aline Taylor of Habersham, Estelene Tyree of Chicago, IL, Betty Austin of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Evelyn Marlow age 79 of LaFollette died May 16, at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Lick Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church of God and attended Fincastle Church of God. She was a former employee of LaFollette Medical Center with 14 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Patton Marlow in August 1980;children, Vietta Marlow and Sue Glandon; parents, Fred and Teal Naff; grandchildren, Anthony Young and Darrell Reynolds; sisters, Edith Pulley and Thelma Wood. Survivors include her daughters, Eunice Bolton and husband, Willard, Patsy Ellis and husband, C. Miller, age 82 formerly of Clinton died May 10 at the Capital Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee, Fl. He was born November 26, 1921 in Campbell County. He was a former employee of Hoskins Drug Store. He was also a former employee of the Fish and Game Commission and worked many years with the U.S. Government. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by his parents, S.B. and Bessie Marie; daughter, Brenda Gail Page; sister, Marguertte Bruce. Survivors include his wife, Opal Duncan Miller, Tallahassee, Fl; grandson, John F. Page, Wilmington, NC; sisters, Louise M. Higgins, Clinton, June M. Bishop and husband, Sam, Oak Ridge; special cousins, Edna, David and Danny Farmer; brother-in-law, Ray Bruce, Clinton; several nieces, nephews, friends and in-laws. Ronnie Joe Milton, age 65 of LaFollette died May 15 at St Mary's Medical Center, Knoxville He was a loving husband, father & grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family & friends. He also enjoyed woodcrafts, collecting pennies & miniature cars. He was a therapist with St Mary's of Campbell County for 37 Yrs. Preceeded in death by his first wife, Edna Rutherford Milton; parents, Robert and Pearl Chadwell Milton; sister, Bobbie Loomis. Survivors include his wife Joyce Milton of LaFollette; sons, Rodney and Ronald Milton of LaFollette, Steve Grubb of Dayton, Ohio; daughters, Teresa Edwards and Renee Bailey of LaFollette; brother, Donnie Milton of LaFollette; sisters, Iva Queener of LaFollette and Shirley Prandini of Knoxville; six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives & friends. She was a member of the Woodlake Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Medical Center and Rehabilitation Center for their care, kindness, friendship and love. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Newport; son, Ray Newport. Randolph, age 58 of Batavia, Oh, formerly of Oneida died May 16 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in LaFollette. Born on June 26, 1945 to last Marion (Shorty) Randolph and Jean Lay Randolph of Jacksboro. He was a member of the Ambassador Freewill Baptist Church, a member of the Clermont South Masonic Lodge #29, a member of the Scottish Rite and a Thirty-Second Degree Mason, a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and a graduate of the Oneida High School class of 1963. He was a retired employee of General Electric of Cincinnati, Ohio where he worked for thirty-four years and was a member of local UAW #647. Preceded in death by his father, Marion (Shorty) H. Randolph; mother and father-in-law, Lottie Laxton and Jacob Laxton; brother-in-laws, Lonnie Terry and Bill Jones; sister-in-laws, Nellie Cotton, Joan Randolph and Lou Etta Laxton. Survivors include his loving wife, Charlotte Randolph, Batavia, Oh; mother, Jean Lay Randolph, Jacksboro; children, Sandra Hardin and husband, Kenneth of Milford, Oh, Gregory Randolph and wife Julie of Cincinnati, Oh; brother, Jack Randolph; grandchildren, Madelyn Marie Randolph, Emily J. Jim Sharp, age 41 of Longmont, Co died May 10 at his home. He was born August 30, 1962 in Sidney, Oh where he grew up and graduated from Sidney High School. He spent most of his professional life working the manufacturing and computer industries in and around Sidney and Cincinnati, Oh. He married Janna McCall Edwards in Cincinnati on March 30, 2000. Janna is a Colorado native and because of Jim's love of the area they moved to Longmont, Co in 2003. Jim and Janna enjoyed doing many activities together including weekends in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. He had a passion for music and collecting robots, rockets and "cartoon network" cars. Family was important to him and he was the proud father of five children and "Grandpa" of four grandchildren. Preceded in death by his mother, Janice Neeley. Survivors include his wife, Janna of Longmont, Co; sons, Jason and Justin; daughter, Jessie, all of Russell Springs, Ky; step-daughter, Lyndsey Edwards and her fiancé Carl Kearny and grandsons, Aaron and Tyler of Batavia, Oh; step-daughter Michelle Hall and husband, LaVon and granddaughter, Savon and grandson, LaVon of Wichita Falls, Tx; parents, James Robert Sharp, Sr. and Ann of LaFollette; sisters, Bonnie Wilburn, Sidney, Oh, Vickie Shrader, Columbia Station, Oh, Sue Barnhart, Covington, Oh; mom, Elizabeth McCall, Longmont, Co; sister-in-laws, Gina McCall, Longmont, Co; Vanessa Lamb and her husband, John of Lyons, Co and Stephanie Mann and husband, Paul; nephew, Jacob and niece, Lizzy, all of Ft. It is with much sorrow that we, the family of the Reverend George Tyra, announce his passing from this world into his Heavenly Home on May 15, 2004. He was born and raised in LaFollette; he left to join the U.S. Army in 1953. He was shipped to Germany where he received the European Service Medal. He loved his country and served it honorably for 16 years and fought valiantly in 2 wars. In 1957 he fought in Korea where he received the Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Medal of Commendation for outstanding service. In 1966 he went to Vietnam 1st Calvary Division, Platoon Sgt. (Infantry). There he trained and led troops into battle. While in Vietnam he received the Combat Infantry Badge, Air Medal for a number of air assaults where he jumped from helicopters into the battle zone. He received the Bronze Star for bravery beyond the call of duty. He was wounded in Alno Valley, Vietnam and received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the faculty in Fort Dix, New Jersey where he conducted troop training in Special Weapons, Rifle Range, etc. Here he received the Good Conduct Medal. After leaving the U.S. Army, he and his wife settled in Toledo where he worked for 30 years as a machinist for Chrysler Corporation. After his retirement he and his wife moved back to LaFollette. He was a wonderful, loving husband and father, always putting his family before himself. He will be most sadly missed by all who knew him, including his good friends Michael, Suzanne, Dennis, Angie, Jim, and host of other good friends and neighbors. He also loved his beloved dog, Ty Ty. We salute him for all his bravery and service. He enriched the lives of many and shall be remembered always. His passing is a great loss to us all and his beloved flag shall fly at half mast Preceded in death by his beloved parents, Clara Mae (Henagar) Tyra and Roy E. Tyra, his precious son, Thomas E. Tyra, and his beloved sister Ann McCloud. She was born March 19, 1943 in Campbell County to the late Gideon and Alene Brown Lovely. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved quilting, crocheting and gardening. Preceded in death by her parents, Gideon and Alene Brown Lovely; sisters, Wanda West, Velma Sharp and Flo Carden.
