Rhoda DOSSETT married Moses DOSSETT about 1827 and lived with him 1 year. Deposition of Nimrod MILLER and William HEATHERTY pertaining to petition. Box 57. Elizabeth LINN petitions for divorce, 1831, Campbell Co., having married Jacob LINN about 7 years ago, and lived with him for about four months. Box 57.. 29 Sept. 1831. Petition of James BAKER and Fanny STANDLEY. In 1819 Fanny MADDIN had a son called James MADDIN. James BAKER took the child and reared him until he was twelve years old. He now wants to adopt him. Fanny MADDIN married William STANDLEY. Campbell Co., Tenn. Box 57. Sally MISINGO petitions for divorce from Charles MISINGO in Campbell Co., Tenn., 1831. They were married Jan. 1828 and lived together for five or six weeks. He left and went to Virginia. 1799 - Box 2. Patsy CHISHOLM wife of John CHISHOLM, 1796. Deposition of Pleasant M. MILLER, 1799. Knox Co., Tenn., before Joseph GREER, J.P. This was a divorce proceeding. Box 8. 1809. Petition of Agnes THOMPSON, asking for a divorce. 21 Sept. 1809. She married William THOMPSON. Agy THOMPSON of Montgomery Co., Va., made a statement on 22 Jan. 1803, that she married William THOMPSON c. 1783, and lived with him, and they had children. James MEDFORD made a statement from Knox Co., Tenn., that William THOMPSON was in Jackson Co., Tenn., in 1803. THOMPSON owned property. Hugh KENNEDY of Knox Co., asks for divorce from his wife Eleanor WALKER, 1812. Box not given. James DOHERTY petitions to have his daughter Eliza DAVIS have her name changed to Eliza CAMPBELL DOHERTY, 1813. The file contains papers pertaining to James DOHERTY's marriage. Box not given.
