From The Knoxville News Sentinel 28 Jun 2004 BULLEN, MR. RAYMOND - age 83 of Wartburg, BULLEN, MR. RAYMOND - age 83 of Wartburg, went home to be with his Lord, Saturday, June 26, 2004 in the Life Care Center of Morgan County. Mr. Bullen retired from the Southern Railway System on March 15, 1977, after 37 years of loyal and devoted service. He was an avid coon hunter and a local cattle farmer, and was also a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Cleveland and Cornelia Bullen; brothers, Alvin, Hugh, Carson, and Clarence Bullen; sister, Imogene Harris; and son, Colin Bullen. He leaves behind: his loving wife of 63 years, Ruth Redmon Bullen; children, daughter and husband, Alice and A.J. Johnson; son and wife, Charles and Vickie Bullen; daughter-in-law, Patrice Bullen (wife of the late Colin Bullen); grandchildren, Clark, Regina, Kelly, Jenean, Brad and Jason. He also leaves behind; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. He also leaves a special caregiver, Cathy Kennedy. The family will receive friends Monday evening, June 28th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Rev. Paul Frick and Rev. Ross Williford officiating.
