From The Knoxville News Sentinel 11 Jun 2004 CHAMBERS, DONALD BYRD - 67, of Clinton, DABNEY, WILLIAM "BILL" - age 79 of Lake City, ELLIS, ALMA LUCILLE "LUCY" age 37, of Oak Ridge, MURRAY, LOUJEAN - age 83 of Clinton, NEMETH, MARIE LANCE - age 84, of Clinton, CHAMBERS, DONALD BYRD - 67, of Clinton, died Thursday, May 20, 2004 at the Methodist Medical Center from injuries resulting from an automobile accident. He was born June 12, 1936 in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, the son of Galen D. Chambers and Margaret Louise Bailey Chambers. He served with the US Air Force from 1954-1958. Mr. Chambers retired from the E.T. Bonding Corp. where he was a bail bondsman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Chambers. He is survived by: son, Charles Chambers and his wife, AnnMarie of Norris, Tenn.; daughters, Teresa C. Miller of Orlando, Fla. and Sabrina Priske of Cocoa, Fla.; sisters, Brenda Gail Daugherty and husband, Donnie of Dunlap and Diana Sue Cox and husband, Richard of Garland, TX; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and ex-wife, Nancy O'Hearn of Orlando, Fla. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 10 a.m. at Campbell Memorial Cemetery in LaFollette. The family asks that any memorials be in the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. DABNEY, WILLIAM "BILL" - age 79 of Lake City, Tenn., formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Lake City Health Care Center. He was born July 17, 1924 in Anderson County, Tenn. to the late William Burley and Alice Duncan Dabney. Bill was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Thelma Hendren, Hazel Hall and Marie Sharp, brothers, Owen Dabney and Eldred "Mutt" Dabney. Survivors: sisters, Aline Martin, Lake City, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday June 11, 2004 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home. ELLIS, ALMA LUCILLE "LUCY" age 37, of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, June 7, 2004. Preceded in death by Father: Richard Polland. She was a member of Moran Baptist Church where she served as Treasure for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Marlow Volunteer Fire Department. She was born September 16, 1920 in Anderson County, Tennessee. Preceded in death by: parents; James and Cassie Wise; husbands, Charles R. Hensley and Woodrow Murray. NEMETH, MARIE LANCE - age 84, of Clinton, TN. passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Marie was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. Marie was preceded in death by parents, George & Parlia Monday; first husband Wayne McFarland Lance; second husband John Nemeth; brothers, Troy Monday & Carl Monday. Marie was a loving mother & grandmother and loved to do ceramics & needle work. Survivors: son & daughter in-law, David & Brenda Lance of Clinton, TN.; sister, Dorothy Spoon of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Robert Wayne & wife Kathy Lance of Clinton, TN, Margaret Elizabeth & husband John Harper of Clinton, TN, Jennifer Rochelle Lance of Clinton, TN; great grandchild, Justin Wayne Lance of Clinton, TN. Family will receive friends Saturday, June 12, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN with the funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN with the Rev. Donnie Disney officiating. The interment will be Sunday, June 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.
