Mrs. Justice was a member of the Orchard View Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Riley and Ollie Martin her husband George Justice three brothers R.C. Clowers, Billy Martin, and Floyd Martin two sisters Nancy Hatfield and Pat Buskirk. Survivors include daughter Bridget and husband Kenneth Collins of Oliver Springs two brothers Hugh Clowers and wife Shirley of Lake City and David Martin and wife Sherry of Jacksonville, FL four sisters Mildred Manley of Baltimore, MD, Shelby Wilson of Cleveland, OH, Jerry Pyles of Cleveland, OH , and Peggy Simon and husband of Geneseo, IL , and a granddaughter Kyla Collins of Oliver Springs. Funeral Services will he held Saturday June 12, 2004 at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Brock officiating. Graveside services will be held Sunday June 13, 2004 at 1:00 pm in the Clear Branch Cemetery in Lake City with Rev. James Lane officiating. Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home In charge of arrangements. PATTERSON, ELLEN LEE LAMB - age 85 of Lake City, went to her new home with the Lord on June 11, 2004 where she joined her husband J.C.. Ellen was a Sunday School teacher; a Monday School leader; a precious Mother; and the family Bible Scholar. Her life was devoted to her husband and children. She loved to garden, cook, and enjoyed life to its fullest. Hers was a testimony of her love for Christ. She will be greatly missed in her church and community. Ellen was born May 5, 1919. She was a member of the Clinch River Baptist Church. Ellen is preceded in death by her parents, & husband, John "J.C." Patterson, whom she was married to for 65 years. She was born in Norfolk, Va. on March 22, 1917 to the late Apse & Beulah Bittle Wilkerson. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by parents, husband, Charley E. Foust; son, Kyle E. Foust; brothers, Bob Wilkerson, Harley Wilkerson & Lee Wilkerson; sisters, Dorothy York and Marie Aulton. Survivors: sons, Charlie "David" and wife, Patricia Foust, Fredericksburg, Va., Larry & wife, Joyce Foust, Deerlodge, Tenn.; grandchildren, Chris Foust, Denise Palmer, Amy Weldon & Matthew Foust; sister, Margorie & husband, Harvey Foust, Knoxville. NEAL, ROBERT BRUCE - 80 of Oak Ridge, died on Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center, due to complications following lung surgery. Bob Neal was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada but came to Lexington, KY to live as a child. He received his early education in the Lexington school system. After enrolling at the University of Kentucky, he was drafted into the Army. He was in the ASTP training program in Vermillion, South Dakota. During the Battle of the Bulge, he was assigned as a replacement to the "Timberwolf" section of the 104th Infantry Division. After World War 11 he completed his degree and graduate work at the University of Kentucky. It goes without saying, he was a faithful and loyal fan of the "Big Blue" basketball team and was an avid fan of the UT Vol Football Team. Bob was the last survivor of the James and Laura Baker Neal family. He had three older brothers, James B., William W., and Jack S. Neal and sister, Frances. Bob retired from Martin Marietta after 41 years of service. He was a Metallurgical Engineer in the Barrier Development Division. He was an avid reader and loved classical music. He was a reader for the Recording ForThe Blind and Dyslexic Inc., having read over 1000 hours. Mr. Neal is survived by: wife of 50 years, Frances Smellage Neal; sons, Bruce and wife, Nina Kondratick Neal, Winter Springs, FL, Doug and wife, Keena Holland Neal, Jamestown, NC; grandchildren, David, Blake, and Ali Neal. Bob was so proud of his sons and their accomplishments. He was affectionately nicknamed "Cracker" by his grandson, Blake. Funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church at 8 pm on Tuesday with Rev. Larry Dipboye and Rev. Ray Lloyd officiating. Bob was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Choir for over 50 years, was a Deacon, Chairman of Music Committees and various other positions. He was a member of the Community Choir for a number of years. The graveside service will be held on Wednesday, 10:30 am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to The Recording For The Blind and Dyslexic Inc., The American Lung Association, or to a charity of choice. PHILLIPS, JAMES RAY - age 66 of Ravenna, Ohio, formerly of Lake City, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born March 28, 1938 in Stainville, TN to the late Filzick and Martha Phillips. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Willard, Clyde, and Avery Phillips. He loved working in his garden & woodshop.
