Dear Kathy: After Bill was electrocuted at Eddyville, KY, his body was transported back to Williamsburg. We cannot find out where he is buried. Did your granny mention anything about where they buried him, when she attended his funeral? I am still confused about the ages, although the paper could have very well had his age wrong. Thank you so much for all the information, you are great. Elizabeth
Elizabeth, It had to be in the Jellico area because granny has never driven a car. I will look through my files to see if I have any more information. When I talk to granny this week, I will ask her what she remembers. I do remember her saying that they showed him and you could tell he had been electrocuted. She said she had never see anyone" laid out" that looked burnt before. She would have only been 20 years old.
