From the Knoxville News Sentinel 1 Aug 2004 KIRK, SUSIE ELAINE NELSON - age 49 of Clinton, KIRK, SUSIE ELAINE NELSON - age 49 of Clinton, passed away Friday, July 30, 2004 at her parents home. She was a nurse at Methodist Medical Center and also a member of Farmers Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, J.D. and Wanda Nelson; husband, Perry Kirk; daughter, Kara Kirk of Clinton; brother, Randy Nelson and wife, Rachel of Clinton; sisters, Judy Nelson of Clinton and Sandy Braden and husband, Neal of Clinton. Other survivors include several nephews and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Monday, August 2, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral service at 8 p.m. with the Reverends Larry Foust, Archie Nelson and Charles Harnes officiating. The graveside service will be Tuesday August 3, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Farmers Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
