EDNA MAE - age 88, of Wartburg, died Sunday morning, August 15, 2004, in the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. She was preceded in death by: husband, Bart Sexton, son; J. B. Sexton; infant daughter, Debra Kay Sexton; parents, William and Cassie Lowe Matheson; several brothers and sisters. Surviving: sons, Billy Joe Sexton, of Deerlodge, TN, Ralph Eugene, Thomas Wayne and Tinsley Barton Sexton, all of Wartburg, John Paul Sexton, of Hitchcock, Texas; daughters, Mary Sue Whetstone, of Chattanooga, Betty Lou Francisco, DeRitter, La.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Tip Matheson, of Harriman, John Matheson, of Kingston; sister, Juanita Phillips, of Kingston. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., August 18, 2004, Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg, with funeral service to follow, with Rev. Charles Webb officiating.
