From The Knoxville News Sentinel 24 Aug 2004 FOUST, WILLIAM "HARVE" - age 94, of Powell HARRIS, ROSELLA PATTERSON age 70, a resident of Coalfield, PATTERSON, NEVA MAE - age 82, of Clinton, FOUST, WILLIAM "HARVE" - age 94, of Powell passed away Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Shannondale Health Care Center after a lingering illness with Parkinson's Disease. He was a member of Zion Baptist Church. In his earlier years he worked at Magnet Mills & later retired from Y- 12/Union Carbide. Preceded in death by: parents, William A. & Maggie Foust; son, Bernie Foust; brothers, Andrew, Charlie "Ed" & Tom Foust. Survivors: wife, Marjorie Foust of Claxton; daughters, Judy & husband Jerry Martin of Claxton, Carolyn & husband Ray Walker of Dallas, TX; brother, Gene & wife Carrie Foust of Clinton; sister, Irene Ridings of Nashville; grandchildren, Bernie & wife Michaela Martin of Oak Ridge, Rodney Martin of Charlotte, N.C.; great grandchildren, Elena & Ben Martin; several nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Shannondale Health Care Center for their loving care given to the family during Harve's illness. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the Chapel with Rev. Glen Gamble officiating. The burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday at Zion Cemetery. The family has requested memorials be made to Shannondale Health Care Center, 801 Vanosdale Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. HARRIS, ROSELLA PATTERSON age 70, a resident of Coalfield, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004 at her home. Mrs. Harris was born June 24, 1934 in Anderson County and she had lived in either Anderson, Roane & Morgan County all of her life. She was an active member of Middle Creek Baptist Church, and a retired bus driver with over 30 years of driving for the Morgan, Anderson & Roane County School Systems. Preceded in death by: her son, Steven R. Harris; grandson, Steven Randy Harris; parents, Foster & Mary Phillips Patterson; brother, Kenneth Patterson; sister, Louise Patterson Phillips. Survivors: sons, Mike Harris & wife, Lynneanne of Coalfield, Ron Harris of Coalfield; grandchildren, Shawn Harris, Valarie Kirby & John Adam Harris; great grandchildren, Sidney Kirby & John Harris; sister, Helen Provence & husband, Jim of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Coleen Patterson of Knoxville; special friends, Louise Crowe, Mac Fritts, Virginia Crabtree, Middle Creek Baptist Church Family, Ladies of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, George and Cleo Bunch Patterson; and brother, Earl Patterson. She is survived by: a sister, June Patterson of Clinton, TN; brother, Burl Paterson and wife Carol of Clinton, TN; niece, Kimberly Ward and husband Eric and sons, Christopher and Jonathan, nephew Kevin Patterson and son, Kevin Quinn Patterson. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Black Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joe Bridges officiating.
