Can anyone tell me who the Wilhoite was that owned the Smith Drug Co. in Jellico sometime before WWII, probably through the 1930s. Also, does anyone know who owned it before Mr. Wilhoite? I'm assuming that at some point it was a Smith that owned it, since Jellico had lots of Smiths and it is called Smith Drugs. My grandfather, Peter Franklin Smith, purchased it from Mr. Wilhoite during the war and had it for about ten or so years. Can someone tell me where and how I can find any documents pertaining to the sale and purchase of the business, both in the 1940s and before?
