NORA HAMBY - age 88, Harriman, Tennessee, NABORS, MISS DAPHNE DAWN - age 26, of Holder Hollow Road, Kingston, TN passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at her home. She was born January 23, 1978 in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a faithful and devoted member of Open Bible Baptist Church, Harriman, and was one who truly loved the Lord. Daphne touched many lives and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by grandparents, William Earl & Ruth Winniford Nabors, and Carlie Armstrong, Sr.; aunt, Dot Atkins; and cousins, Hayden Lee & Robert James Armstrong. She is survived by: parents, Robert & Janie Nabors, Sr. of Kingston, TN; brother, Robbie Nabors & wife, Kim of Kingston, TN; grandmother, Jean Armstrong of Harriman, TN; special nieces, Kelvey & Meagan Nabors; uncles and aunts, Junior, Charles, & Lil. Robert Armstrong, Judy Bufton, Donald, Lawrence, & Henry Nabors, Betty Leffew and Corine Jackson; a host of special cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Donnie Harvey, Pastor Keith Allen, Bro. James Jones, and Bro. Jeff Parrott officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Sunday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery, Kingston. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Greensboro Lodge #76 F& A.M. in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Preceded in death by wife, Kay Frances Moore; parents, Sam & Della Mae Moore; brothers, Paul, Alvin & Ralph Moore.
