From the Knoxville News Sentinel 29 Aug 2004 NABORS, MISS DAPHNE DAWN - age 26, Kingston, TN MOORE, JULIUS "JIM" ANDERSON - age 69, of Heiskell ROBINSON, BABY AVA LYNN RUSSELL, LIZZIE MAE - age 92, of Coalfield, SLAVEN, MRS. NORA HAMBY - age 88, Harriman, Tennessee, NABORS, MISS DAPHNE DAWN - age 26, of Holder Hollow Road, Kingston, TN passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at her home. She was born January 23, 1978 in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a faithful and devoted member of Open Bible Baptist Church, Harriman, and was one who truly loved the Lord. Daphne touched many lives and was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by grandparents, William Earl & Ruth Winniford Nabors, and Carlie Armstrong, Sr.; aunt, Dot Atkins; and cousins, Hayden Lee & Robert James Armstrong. She is survived by: parents, Robert & Janie Nabors, Sr. of Kingston, TN; brother, Robbie Nabors & wife, Kim of Kingston, TN; grandmother, Jean Armstrong of Harriman, TN; special nieces, Kelvey & Meagan Nabors; uncles and aunts, Junior, Charles, & Lil. Robert Armstrong, Judy Bufton, Donald, Lawrence, & Henry Nabors, Betty Leffew and Corine Jackson; a host of special cousins and many special friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Bro. Donnie Harvey, Pastor Keith Allen, Bro. James Jones, and Bro. Jeff Parrott officiating. Graveside services and interment will be held Sunday, August 29 at 3:00 p.m. in the Calvary-Hazelwood Cemetery, Kingston. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Evans Mortuary of Rockwood is serving the family of Miss Daphne Dawn Nabors. MOORE, JULIUS "JIM" ANDERSON - age 69, of Heiskell went to be with the Lord Friday, August 27, 2004, at his daughter's, "Teresa's" home surrounded by other family members. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Greensboro Lodge #76 F& A.M. in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Preceded in death by wife, Kay Frances Moore; parents, Sam & Della Mae Moore; brothers, Paul, Alvin & Ralph Moore. Survivors: sons, Jimmy "Buster" Moore & special friend Karen Bishop of Claxton, Wayne Moore & wife Teresa of Knoxville; daughters, Carolyn Murray & husband Weldie of Oliver Springs, Teresa Smallwood & husband Charles of Heiskell; grandchildren, Logan & Wendy Moore, Ashlea Moore, Jordan, Meleah, Taylor & Matthew Murray, Courtney, Kimberly "Meaness", Nikki & Charlee Smallwood; sisters, Juanita Baker of Powell, Shirley & husband Charles McCarter of Knoxville, Mikki & husband Ray Roberts of Powell, Mary Reed of Lake City; sister-in-law, Faye Moore. The family will receive from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, August 30, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. The burial will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday at Lynch Bethel Cemetery. Holley- Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. ROBINSON, BABY AVA LYNN passed away Thursday, August 26, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital. Survivors: parents, James & Jennifer Robinson of Clinton; grandparents, Cindy & Roger Carter of Clinton, Jackie & Jerry Robinson of Clinton; great grandparents, Edna Lewallen of Lake City, Alma & T.C. Watson of Clinton, Jean Webster of Clinton; great great grandmother, Flora Tackett of Lenoir City. The family will receive friends 1:00-1:45 PM Sunday, August 29, 2004 at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home. The graveside service will 2:00 PM, Sunday at Anderson Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday, August 30, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with funeral service following the visitation at 8:00 pm, in the chapel. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday at Estes Cemetery. Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs in charge of all SLAVEN, MRS. NORA HAMBY - age 88, Fairmont Avenue, Harriman, Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at her residence. She was a member of the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle. Before her retirement, she was employed in the Housekeeping Department at Harriman Hospital. Preceded in death by sons, James & Bob Slaven; grandchild, Jim Slaven. Survived by: daughter, Jone Slaven, Harriman, TN; sons, Jack Slaven, Harriman, TN, Roger Slaven, Harriman, TN, Lowell Slaven, Lebanon, IN, grandchildren, Josh, Coy, Roger Dale, Pyrrah, Misha, Sherry, Kristy, Matt, Curt & Victor; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Rhoda Petry, Dayton, OH, Rebecca Monteil, San Diego, CA. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 30, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. from the Harriman Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Ed Parton, Rev. Jeff Parrott & Rev. James Jones officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the Evans Mortuary.
