She was a member of Caryville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Boshears; son, Jason Boshears; parents, Lester Murphy and Christine Sutton; grandmother: Martha Murphy. She was born April 11, 1932 in LaFollette, the daughter of Jerry and Nannie Butler Prewitt. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church, Batavia, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Bowlin. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gail Lawson of Oregon, OH, Marilyn Twonette Oberlin and husband, Dean of Oregon, OH, Mary Marlene Fair and husband, Jerry of Sylvania, OH; grandchildren, Melissa Thomas and husband, Joe of Findlay, OH, Jennifer Oberlin of Oregon, OH, Brian Fair and Chris Fair of Wilmington, NC; great-grandchildren, Justin Thomas, Tyler Thomas and Marie Thomas, all of Findlay, OH; brothers, Charles Prewitt and wife, Frances, James Prewitt and wife, Laura Jane and Quentin Prewitt, all of Jellico, KY; sisters, Joyce Bowlin and husband, Howard of Oregon, OH, Delores Vest of Louisville, KY; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Shane Avery Cobb, age 26 of LaFollette died suddenly Oct. 14 in Claiborne County. He was a member of the Laborers International Union of North America. He was a loving father, son and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed anything with the outdoors. He is survived by his daughter, Nevaeh Cobb of LaFollette; father, Hank Cobb of Al; mother, Kathy Powers of LaFollette; brothers, Zachary Cobb of LaFollette and Travis Cobb of Lima, OH; grandparents, Hershel and Virgie Powers of Speedwell; grandmother, Thelma Bonner of Ala; girlfriend, Bridgett Ford of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives. She as a longtime member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church. She loved gardening, taking care of her flowers and spending time with and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George B. Cooper; parents, Calvin and Jane Howard Rollins, sisters, Cora, Kitty, Loreda, Eunice, Sophia and Grace; brother, Rule and John Rollins. She is survived by her sons, John D. Cooper of LaFollette, Ed and Larry Cooper of Brighton, CO, Gene Cooper of Westminster, MD; daughters, Rita Jane Cooper of Pasadena, MD and Shirley Offerson of Denver, CO; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; special niece, June Cassell; several other nieces, nephews and host of friends. Ada Cupp age 98 of LaFollette died Oct. 14 at St. Mary's Health and Rehabilitation Center in LaFollette. She was of the Church of God Faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas Cupp, a Spanish-American War Veteran; son, Jack Cupp; daughter, Juanita Sonja Volk; fifteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Gayle Sweat of LaFollette, Shirley Yoakum and husband, John W. (Babe) Yoakum of Oak Grove KY; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were Oct. 16 at Walters Chapel with Rev. Suda Jean Goins, age 78 of LaFollette died Oct. 16 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a loving sister and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Ida Mae Lester Goins; brothers, Doyle and Bill Goins and Tommy Lester; sisters, Maude Dilbeck and Marie Goins. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Billie Sue Hunter, five granddaughters and 12 great grandchildren, two nieces, Ann Upchurch and Carol Smith and families.
