From the Knoxville News Sentinel 10 Oct 2004 HOLLOWAY, ELLEN FLYNN - 86, formerly of Oak Ridge, WALKER FRED H. - of Morristown, formerly of Knoxville, HOLLOWAY, ELLEN FLYNN - 86, formerly of Oak Ridge, died at Ft. Sanders Parkwest Medical Center on October 9, 2004. Born to parents Clinton and Grace Rachel Ray Flynn on November 12, 1917. Mrs. Holloway came to Oak Ridge in 1946. A homemaker and member of First Christian Church, Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by husband, Jesse Clark Holloway, July 5, 1994; brother, Vaughn Flynn, March of 1991. Survivors include, daughters, Frances Holston and husband Bill, Farragut, Marie Meredith and husband, Clark of Lenoir City, Sue Dagnan and husband, Tom of Powell; grandchildren, Julia Dagnan Dunne, Nashville, Sherri Ballard, Knoxville, Robert Quimby, Oak Ridge; great-grandchildren, Joseph Fitts, Oak Ridge, Sarah and Michael Dunne, Nashville. The funeral service will be held Monday, 7 PM in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Jesse Bradshaw officiating. The graveside service will be on Tuesday, 11 AM at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:30 - 7 PM at Weatherford Mortuary, Oak Ridge. WALKER FRED H. - of Morristown, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Heritage Nursing Center. Retired from Oak Ridge K25 and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, Emmitt and Martha Walker; wife, Mertice Cooper Walker; son, Fred Thomas Walker; daughter, Annette Cardwell; brother, Odie Marcum; sister, Mable Simpson. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Billy Campbell of Morristown; brother, Conway Walker of Oneida; sisters, Joyce Phillips of Oneida and Eva Acres of Knoxville; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Don and Becky Cardwell; sitters, Bea Phillips and Jennifer Smith. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 am Tuesday at Weaver's to proceed to New Gray Cemetery for a 10 am graveside service.
