From The Oak Ridger 7 Jul 2004 Alma Irene Martin, 73, of Clinton, Alyssa Jade Byrge of Oliver Springs Gladys Smithson, 75, of Oliver Springs, Alma Irene Martin, 73, of Clinton, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Elmore and Gertrude Byrd Keith. Mrs. Martin is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years, E.L. Martin; her son, Terry Martin and wife, Sheila, of Clinton; her daughter, Lidelle Bowling and husband, Rick, of Knoxville; her sister, Louise Bumgardener, of Roseville, Calif.; and by three grandchildren, Brian Martin, Allison Martin and Andrew Bowling. "There will be a Holy Ghost celebration of her arrival at her eternal home - Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah," her family said. The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, at White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville with the Rev. Steve Rhinehart and the Rev. Jim West officiating. The body may be viewed from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 9, at Black Oak Baptist Church cemetery in Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Alyssa Jade Byrge of Oliver Springs died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
