    2. From The Knoxville News Sentinel 28 Jul 2004 FERGUSON, RICKY P. - 59 of 2516 River Road, Kingston, TN, HAZELWOOD, REV. MARVIN F. age 80, MCBRIDE, BARBARA CLARK - FERGUSON, RICKY P. - 59 of 2516 River Road, Kingston, TN, formerly of Johnson City, died Sunday, July 25, 2004 at his residence. He was a native of Greeneville, TN and lived in Oak Ridge before moving to Kingston eight years ago. He was a son of Evelyn Wright Ferguson of Johnson City and the late Harold Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was an employee of BWXT Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge as an Industrial Hygienist with Occupational Safety and Health. He was a retired Commander from the U. S. Public Health Service, and served in the US Army. Survivors in addition to his mother: include his wife, Jody Clutter Ferguson; two sons, Eric Ferguson of West Palm Beach, Florida and Aaron Ferguson of Ann Arbor, Michigan; one brother, Gary Ferguson of Gray. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 pm Thursday from the Washington County Memory Gardens. Rev. Alan Rosenberger will officiate. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the V. F. MARVIN F. age 80, born November 17, 1923 in Roane County, TN; passed away Monday July 26, 2004 at U T Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a faithful member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Kingston. He was a Baptist Minister for 43 years and pastered 5 churches; Mt. View Baptist in Lake City, TN; Rockwood Baptist Tabernacle in Rockwood, TN; Union Hall Baptist in Madisonville, TN; Mount Calvary Baptist in Harriman, TN; Dooley Street Baptist in Crossville, TN. He was retired from Y-12 plant; Martin Marietta after 33 years of service. He also enjoyed farming. He was preceded in death by: his loving wife of 57 years, Gladys Greene Hazelwood; parents, Rev. Tom and Ellar Hazelwood; two brothers, George and William Hazelwood; and five infant brothers and sisters. He is survived by: two sons, Tommy and wife Barbara Hazelwood of Knoxville, TN and Joshua E. and wife Nancy Hazelwood of Athens, TN; three daughters, Mary Hawkins; Carolyn and husband Larry Russell, and Brenda and husband Doug Romines all of Kingston, TN; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; one brother, John Hazelwood of Kingston, TN; three sisters, Mary Herrell and Cora Lawson of Kingston, TN, Betty Viars of Philadelphia, TN; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral 8pm Tuesday July 27, 2004 in the Kyker Chapel with Rev. Paul (Yogi) White, Rev. Doug Greene and Rev. George Maddox officiating. Burial 12 noon Wednesday at Hazelwood Cemetery. MCBRIDE, BARBARA CLARK - a graphic artist who enjoyed contributing her talent to local community organizations, died of cancer in her home in Oak Ridge on July 24. She was 58. She is survived by her husband Neil; children, Allen and Bonny; parents, Ann and Rodney Clark of Anniston, Alabama; sister, Lucy; and brother, Rodney Jr. Services will be held at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Oak Ridge, 211 N. Tulane Ave, at 1:30pm on July 31. A reception at home will follow. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to St. Stephens Church.
