I was wondering if anyone has heard of and can tell me where the Walker and Stockville areas are in Campbell Co, TN? I know where Fincastle and Well Springs are. I think they should be near these. Also, does anyone know anything about the State Hopsital in Knoxville, now called Lakeshore Mental Health Institute? I know that in 1886, East Tennessee Hospital for the Insane (now Lakeshore Mental Health Institute) opened in Knoxville with the transfer of 99 patients from the Nashville hospital. How does one go about getting any records from there? Thank you for any help you can give me. Helen
I have an old post card of this hospital which dates to the early 1900's if anyone would want a scan. --Gerald MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!
