The following obit appeared in the Dayton Daily News this morning 20 July 2004. Maybe of interest to someone. Byrge, Raymond Leon, 78 of Moraine, passed away July 19 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Edith Byrge, and sisters Betty (Harry) Cunningham and Mary Frances Kasrich. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Mary Byrge; sister, Louise (Jerry) Price; sons Jimmy (Nancy) Byrge, Donald (Patricia) Byrge, and Larry Byrge; daughter Judy (Wayne) Gentry; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He retired from Chrysler Airtemp after 30 years of service, was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a lifelong member of the Caryville, TN Lodge No. 665, F&A Masons, and an employee of David Cemetery. Raymond was a member of Moraine City Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at 5:00-7:00 Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at Newcomer Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be at the funeral home 11:00 a.m. Thursday.
