C. - age 84, of Coalfield, ASBURY, RALPH ROBERT - age 76, of Jacksboro, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2004, at St. Mary's Medical Center, LaFollette. He was a member of Caryville United Methodist Church & was retired from Tennessee Department of Transportation. Preceded in death by: parents, Raymond & Lucille Russell Asbury; brothers, James Walter Asbury, Homer (Hutch) Asbury & Harold Franklin Asbury. Survivors: sister, Norma Jean Asbury of Jacksboro; brother, Maurice C. Asbury of Caryville; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephew and many relatives and friends. Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday Cross Chapel, Rev. Lyle White, Pastor of Caryville United Methodist Church & Rev. Perry Duncan of Knoxville officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 till 8 p.m. Monday at Cross Funeral Home. SEIBER, ROBERT H. - age 89 of Oliver Springs, TN; passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004 at his home in Olive Springs, TN. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dutch Valley, TN with the Rev. Troy Keaton officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN in charge of all arrangements. SEXTON, MR. J. C. - age 84, of Coalfield, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2004, in the Methodist Medical Center, Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by: parents, John Freeman and Rebecca Johnson Sexton; brothers, Bill Sexton and Charles Sexton. He was a Veteran of WW II, having received several medals and retired from Union Carbide. He was a member of the K-25 Credit Union, A.F.L, C.I.D. Union, Royal Order of Odd Fellow Lodge ##35 Past Noal Grand and Veteran of Foreign War and Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving: daughter, Rebecca Catherine Utley, of Harriman; sons, Jimmy Sexton, of Kingston, Larry Sexton, of Harriman and Freeman Mitchell Sexton, of Lake City, Ill.; 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; sister, Mary E. June Rogers, of Dayton, Ohio; brothers, Vincent Sexton, of Hillsboro, Ohio, Pat Sexton, of Burnside, Ky. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Schubert Funeral Home Chapel, Wartburg, with funeral service to follow, with Rev. Will Gouge officiating.
