    2. From The Oak Ridger 22 Jul 2004 Roslyn W. Bridges, of Franklin, Jay Louis Schultz, of Oak Ridge, William "Bill" Donald Carden, 74, of Oak Ridge, Nathan Douglas Farrow, 22, of Oliver Springs, Steve Edward Keathley, 32, of Clinton, Roslyn W. Bridges, of Franklin, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, in Franklin. Mrs. Bridges worked in the library systems area at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church. She served two terms as president of the Oak Ridge Woman's Club, was a avid bridge player, a member of the Carbide Retirees Silver Tops and an active member of the Senior Center. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of Frank and Mabel Luxenberger Wavra. She was the widow of Forrest M. Bridges Jr. Mrs. Bridges is survived by her daughter, Sandra Michelle Bridges of Franklin; three sisters-in-law, Julia B. Bell and Mary B. Noles, both of Springfield, and Edith B. Graves of Wilmington, N.C.; and by several nieces and nephews. Lee Miller of Franklin was considered her special friend. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 23, 2004, at Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield with the Rev. Joseph Desmond officiating. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Saint Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Woods officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to Saint Mary's School, 323 Vermont Ave., Oak Ridge TN 37830. Robertson County Funeral Home in Springfield is in charge of arrangements. Jay Louis Schultz, of Oak Ridge, died peaceably among friends on his 57th birthday, Wednesday, July 21, 2004. Mr. Schultz was born in Chicago and graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University. He later graduated from The University of Chicago and skillfully practiced law for 30 years in Illinois and Michigan. He proudly served as associate editor for the University Law Review, and was respected by all who associated with him, his family said. According to his family, he was a gentle and loving man with innumerable strengths and was befriended by many, and a friend to all. He had a way of contributing light and joy to any relationship. He enjoyed the great outdoors, and was an avid fisherman and canoeist. He had a great love for and rapport with animals. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Schultz of Chicago. Mr. Schultz is survived by his mother, Ida Schultz of Oak Ridge; and by his brother, Edward of Michigan. His family said his passing leaves an unfillable void in the heart of special friend Andie Lenhard, and he will also be greatly missed by David, Michael, and Meagan McClanahan of Oak Ridge and by Joan and Chuck Bowers of Powell. He was loved by many. A graveside service will be held at noon Thursday, July 22, at the Jewish Cemetery with the Rabbi Victor Rashkovsky officiating. Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. William "Bill" Donald Carden, 74, of Oak Ridge, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at his home. Weatherford Mortuary is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete at presstime. Nathan Douglas Farrow, 22, of Oliver Springs, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center at Knoxville. Steve Edward Keathley, 32, of Clinton, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
