FREEMAN - age 81 of Andersonville, passed away at 1:48 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville. Our obituary line is: 865-992-1114 MARTIN, ALMA IRENE - age 73, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by: parents, Clayton Elmore & Gertrude Byrd Keith. She is survived by: her high school sweetheart, E.L. Martin whom she was married to for 50 years; sons, Terry & wife Sheila Martin of Clinton; daughter, Lidelle & husband Rick Bowling of Knoxville; sister, Louise Bumgardener of Roseville, CA; grandchildren, Brian & Allison Martin, Andrew Bowling. There will be a Holy Ghost Celebration of her arrival at her Eternal Home. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 8, 2004 at White Rock Baptist Church in Huntsville, Tennessee with Rev. Steve Rhinehart & Rev. Jim West officiating & the body will lie-in-state from 4:00-7:00 pm prior to the funeral service. The burial will be 10:30 am, Friday at Black Oak Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton.
