    3. Hello All: Ken Lay's ancestor Thomas Lay lived in Campbell County TN. He went to MO, I believe it was after the Civil War I am not sure. I can't name Ken's direct line but I am sure that his father was born and lived his live in and around MO. Thomas was the son of John M. Lay who is buried beside the Elk Fork Baptist Church in Elk Valley Tennessee. Thomas' first wife died before he left TN. and he married Drusy Adkins. When Thomas died in MO. she returned to Elk Valley and married Rev. Jesse Baird. His first wife Louisa Smith is buried on one side of him and Drusy on the other. Loyal Lay, of Broken Arrow OK. is a first Cousin to Kenneth Lay. Loyal served as President of The Lay Family Genealogical Association from 2000 to 2002.
