DIANA M. - age 60 of Andersonville, Tenn., KNIGHT, RUTH HELEN - age 61, of Clinton MORAN, EMMA M. - 83 of Oak Ridge RITTENHOUSE, JESSE MATTHEW age 25, of Harriman WHEELER, J. P. - 88 of Oak Ridge FERRIS, MRS. DIANA M. - age 60 of Andersonville, Tenn., formerly of Brighton, Mich., passed away September 8, 2004 in Tenn. She was born March 5, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Rudy & Laura (Rosenbach) Faulhaber. On April 24, 1965 she was married to Charles "Chuck" Ferris in Chicago, IL. They moved to Brighton in 1978 and spent many vacations on Norris Lake in Tenn. and moved there permanently in 1994. Mrs. Ferris was a registered nurse who worked for St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich. before she moved to Tenn. She worked for Dr. J.A. Keenan in Knoxville and specialized in in-vitro fertilization she was a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Norris. Surviving in addition to her husband, Chuck Ferris are three sons, Christopher (Kay) of Brighton, Craig (Susan) of Howell & CJ (Carisa) of Highland, Mich. and 7 grandsons, Brian, Justin, Evan, Jakob, Joshua, Dylan & Carter. She is also survived by her parents, Rudy & Laura Faulhaber of Harwood Heights, IL; one brother, Rudy (Debbie) Faulhaber of Des Plaines, IL; one sister, Maryanne (Ralph) Bolton of Piqua, Ohio and by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A memorial service is planned for 5:30 p.m. on Sunday September 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Norris, Tenn. In lie of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital Neo-Natal Unit, Andersonville Fire Dept. or the Anderson County Rescue Squad. KNIGHT, RUTH HELEN - age 61, of Clinton passed away Saturday, September 18, 2004 at Methodist Medical Center. Born June 12, 1943 in Newnan, Georgia. Survivors: son, Richard Knight of Lavalette, West Virginia; sisters, Marie & husband Ralph Hillard of Powell, Nancy McMillian of Oak Ridge, Catherine E. & husband Estel Aslinger of Oliver Springs; brother, George R. Knight of Clinton; 2 grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; special friend, Linda Newman. The family will have a graveside service 1:00 PM, Monday September 20, 2004 at Grandview Memorial Garden. On line memorial book may be signed at wwwmartinoakridgefuneralhome.com RITTENHOUSE, JESSE MATTHEW age 25, of Harriman died Thursday, September 16, 2004 as the result of a motor vehicle accident while in the line of duty for the Harriman Police Department. Matt was a lifelong resident of Harriman and graduated from Harriman High School in 1997. He attended Roane State Community College and was a 2002 graduate of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy at Donelson. He worked first for the Roane County Sheriff's Department as a Corrections Officer and has been a Patrolman with Harriman Police Department since 2001. Matt was a member of Morrison Hill Christian Church in Kingston. He loved his Lord, his family, his work in law enforcement and his Chief. He was known in his family as his Dad's "Bud" and his Mom's "Smiling Eyes".My wonderful brother - I will fill the hole left in my heart with the many joyful memories we have shared in our life together - until we meet again in heaven. - Jenny. P. - 88 of Oak Ridge died on September 17, 2004 at Windwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. Born in Jacksboro, TN on September 25, 1915 to parents Henry and Mary Agnes Hollingsworth Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge. He retired from Union Carbide, Y-12 Facility, after 37 years. Preceded in death by daughter, Jeanie Sue Wheeler; son, John Michael Wheeler. Survivors include, wife, Mamie Bailey Wheeler; daughter, Patricia Dail and husband, Thomas, Farragut; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. The funeral service will be Monday, 8 PM in the chapel of Weatherford Mortuary . Burial will be private. The family requests memorials be donations to First United Methodist Church, Keystone Elder Day Care, 1350 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
