From the Oak Ridger 13 Sep 2004 Ruby M. Millsaps, 81, of Alcoa, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at home surrounded by her children. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Silas N. Millsaps; her infant daughter, Alice Arlene; her mother, Stella Bivens; her father, R. Queen; and her sister, Frankie Elizabeth Shell. She is survived by daughters, Bettie Ann Biancardi and husband, Richard, of Springfield, Va., Nancy Fischer and husband, Craig, of Knoxville, and Martha Jean Millsaps, of Washington D.C.; her son, Larry Millsaps and wife, Linda, of Sewanee; and her sister, Willie Pate, of Oak Ridge. The funeral will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary in Maryville with the Rev. Ronnie Buchanan officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the burial.
