Hi Joan, Sorry to hear your son who lives in Fla sustained damage to his home from Charlie and Frances. As for relationship to Anderson County,Tenn. I belive we are. At least to the ones on the 1830 and 1840 Censuses- Carrolls and Langley who was a Carroll. They are a stumbling block for some parts. I am also trying to track down Tempy Carroll who is Julian Carroll Langley's mother. Wm, Jessee ,and John, and Morton Carroll are brothers Julian's husband is Joseph Langley. I believe Wm is their oldest brother. It is believed that Thomas was Tempy's husband but all is not clear.
