From the Knoxville News Sentinel 12 Sep 2004 RAINES, JAMES "JIM" - age 60, of Caryville, Tn RAINES, JAMES "JIM" - age 60, of Caryville, Tn (Ridgewood Community) went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 10, 2004 at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital in Knoxville. He was saved on September 7, 2004. He was a loving father & brother. He was preceded in death by wife, Susan Withrow Raines; parents, Clyde & Alline Rains. Survivors: daughter, Kelli Hutson & husband, Chris, of Luttrell; grandchildren, Amber Muse of Washington, D.C, Nathan Goodman & Hannah Hutson, both of Luttrell; step-granddaughter, Kalia Hutson of Luttrell; sister, Mary Ruth Jennings & husband, Everette, of Caryville; brother, Jackie Rains & wife, Della, of Caryville; nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2004 from 6 to 8:30 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with the funeral service to follow at 8:30 in the chapel with the Rev. Jehu Parks officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry "Tiny" Houck, Donnie Chambers, Terry Jennings, Tim Jennings, Mike Leach & Dale Finch. Interment will be Monday, September 13th. At 2:00 PM at the Ridgeview Church Cemetery in Lake City.
