He was a faithful member of Ivey Dell Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi Allen; parents, William H. and Tilda E. Allen; brother, James F. Allen;sister, Lois Russell. Walters Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Nancy Lee Bratton, age 62 of Jacksboro died Sept. 9 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. She was a member of Cumberland View Baptist Church and the Moose Lodge. She attended Evans School in Marion, IN, graduated from Gis City School, and attended College of Nursing for 3 years. She was a Nurse at the V.A. Hospital in Marion, IN. She was preceded in death by her infant children, Juanita Lee Koon and Troy Bratton; parents, Jake and Leona Atkins. She is survived by her husband of 38 years with a recent anniversary on September 3, Clyde F. Glenn Chadwell, age 68 of Chattanooga died Sept. 11 in a local hospital. He was a native of Westbourne, he had been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 36 years. He was a mason and was retired from the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant as an engineer. At the time of his death he was employed with Lifetouch National Schools Studios and was a member of the Woodland Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother, Freeman Chadwell; father, Tom Chadwell. He is survived by his wife, Frances Chadwell; daughter, Dawn Oliveira, Knoxville; mother, Johnnie Petitt, LaFollette; sister, Freda Hendon, LaFollette; brothers, Leonard Chadwell, Johnson City, Tommy Chadwell, Albert Chadwell, Garry Chadwell and Russell Petitt, all of LaFollette, Paul Chadwell of Powell and Ralph Chadwell of Winston-Salem, NC; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews. Nola Mae Milton DeForest went to be with the Lord on the morning of Sept. 5 at her home in Gretna, LA. She was born July 18, 1932 in Westbourne. She was 72 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy (Joe) Milton and Ethel Bullock Milton of Duff; daughter, Diana DeForest of Gretna, LA. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ernest William DeForest; daughters, Patricia Bourgeois and husband, Charles of MS, Ester Joy DeForest; sons, Robert Michael and wife, Regina, Keith and wife, Cheryl, David and wife, Barbara, all of LA; sister, Kelly Maxine Mattie and husband, Hillard of Oneida; brother, Melvin Milton and wife, Margaret of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. James Frank Duncan, age 76 of Cane Creek Community, Williamsburg, KY died Sept. 12 at the Jellico Community Hospital. He was born Jan. 28, 1928 at Saxton, KY and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mildred Norman Duncan; brothers, Conley Duncan and Henry D. Duncan; sister, Violet Duncan Harper. He is survived by his son, Franklin Kenneth Duncan of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Desree Duncan, San Duncan and Kalay Duncan; sisters, Venna Gast and husband, Joe of Williamsburg, KY, Margaret Gilreath of Newcomb; brothers, Billy Duncan and wife, JoAnn of Williamsburg, KY, Ralph Duncan and wife, Shirley of Beverly Hills, FL. She was a member of the Fincastle Methodist Church. She gave her energies to her family, home maker, wife and mother. Preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Pistello and Emerson Holt; sons, Freddie and Stephen Pistello; parents, Lewis and Ruby Stiller Garrett; sisters, Jean Reagan, Dorothy Brock and Mildred Trobaugh. He was an avid fisherman and was employed by LaFollette Utilities for 24 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Charles Johnson; sister, Brenda Sue Johnson and Linda Lou Franks; grandparents, Rev. Kelly and Martha Johnson and Rev. P.E. and Lassie Slover. He is survived by his wife, Sue; son, Caleb, both of Jacksboro; mother, Dorothy Johnson, sister, Kathy Johnson, both of Caryville; step-daughters, Ginger and Jessica Marlow; step-grandchildren, Cory Gibson, Zackary Webb and Madison Webb. George Leon Parker, better known as (G.L.), age 74 of LaFollette died Sept. 13 at his home. He was born March 5, 1930. A loving husband of 58 years, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, G.L. was a police officer for 33 years, constable for many years, and a farmer for 57 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elisha and Belvia Parker. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Lucille Parker of LaFollette.
