From The Knoxville News Sentinel 4 Sep 2004 LOWE, MR. STACY - age 32 of LaFollette TURNBOW, VICTORIA BEASLEY - 81 of Jacksonville, Florida, WOODSON, HELEN MARIE - age 88 of LaFollette LOWE, MR. STACY - age 32 of LaFollette passed away Friday, September 3, 2004, at his home. He was a member of the LaFollette First Baptist Church and the men's Sunday School Class. He was a graduate of Tennessee Tech. He was preceded in death by brother, Christopher and grandparents, Johnny Phillips and Otha and Mary Lowe. Survivors: wife, Mrs. Jennifer Lowe of LaFollette; parents, George and Patsy Lowe of Jacksboro; sisters, Angie Lowe of Knoxville and Brittany Lowe of Jacksboro; grandmother, Jane Phillips of Caryville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Clifford and Sharon Kohlmeyer of LaFollette; grandmother-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Patterson of LaFollette; brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law, Chuck and Christy Kohlmeyer and Jared and Amber Kohlmeyer all of LaFollette; niece and nephew, Cassie and Dalton Kohlmeyer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services Sunday 8 P.M. at LaFollette First Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Harris officiating with the eulogy by Mr. Clarence Lowe. Interment Monday 10 A.M. at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday before services at LaFollette First Baptist Church. TURNBOW, VICTORIA BEASLEY - 81 of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004 in Orange Park, FL. She was born March 8, 1923 in Reidsville, GA, the daughter of William Hinton Beasley and Missouri Narsey Lee Beasley. She was a long time resident of Oak Ridge and member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Turnbow in August 4, 2001. Surviving are her daughters Carolyn Bridges Andersen and Doris Bridges Irvin; her son Morrie Bridges, all of Jacksonville, FL; her brother Dewey Beasley of Savannah, GA; 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at 11:00 am at Weatherford Mortuary with Dr. Larry Dipboye officiating. The burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Weatherford Mortuary. She was a lifetime member of the Jacksboro United Methodist Church. She was a member of AARP having retired from teaching after 29 years. She was preceded in death by husband: John William Woodson on July 23, 1971; daughter: Helen Wilson on July 23, 1975 and parents: Ezra and Mattie Delap Daugherty. Mrs. Woodson is survived by 2 grandchildren: Lisa Jane Lee and Nora Ann Wilson; great grandchildren: Jessica Desha Bowling, Danna Sierra and Lindsy Marie Lee; brother: EB Daugherty of Chicago, IL; sisters: Evelyn Daugherty of East Bernstat, KY, Sherry Daugherty of Cleveland, OH, Ellen Lenore of Huntsville, AL; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 7 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Lyle White officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Sunday in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Saturday before funeral services.
