Drummond, 95, of Clinton, Stella Ann Hayes Fell Edwards, 66, of Friendsville, Victoria Beasley Turnbow, 81, formerly of Oak Ridge, Karen Elizabeth Dreager, 35, of Oak Ridge and formerly of North Carolina, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004, at her home. Born March 23, 1969, in Fort Dix, N.J., she was the daughter of Arnold and Betty Jane Gold Dreager, both deceased. Miss Dreager is survived by sisters, Deborah McMahon and husband, Paul, of Oak Ridge, and Bette Bleicher and husband, Paris, of Pennsylvania; a brother, Barry Dreager; and a niece and nephew, Kimberly McMahon and Billy McMahon, both of Oak Ridge, and nephew, Matthew Dreager, of North Carolina. The body will be taken to Inglesby Funeral Home in Maple Shade, N.J. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson, N.J. Drummond, 95, of Clinton, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at Laurel Manor Nursing Home. Born Nov. 18, 1908, he was the son of John and Maude Drummond. Mr. Drummond retired from Union Carbide Nuclear Division where he worked as a sheet metal fabricator. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers, Oma Barton, Ethel Derrick, Myrtle Childs, Wade Drummond and Robert Drummond, and a daughter-in-law, Shirley Drummond. Mr. Drummond is survived by his son, C.H. Drummond Jr. and his wife, Carol Sue, of Clinton; and a sister and brother, Ginny Maude Stacks and Neal Drummond, both of Atlanta, Ga. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Teri Hesselbach and husband, Carl, of Knoxville, and Tina Drummond and Brian Drummond and wife, Danyel, all of Oak Ridge; two step-grandchildren, Tresa Batson and husband, Mark, of Knoxville and Kara Allison and husband, David, of Memphis; and by four great-grand children, three step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, in the chapel of Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with the Rev. Steve McDonald officiating. The body may be viewed 30 minutes before the service. Burial will be at Shoemaker Cemetery after the funeral. Stella Ann Hayes Fell Edwards, 66, of Friendsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She fought a courageous battle with cancer and finally won the ultimate battle, her family said. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Friendsville and was dedicated to her family. She often documented her family reunions with pictures and films. Her hobbies included going to yard sales with family members. She loved her husband, sons, daughter and grandchildren very much, according to her family. Her daughters-in-law and sisters-in-law were always considered as her own daughters and sisters. She left on a legacy that will be carried on from generation to generation and will be embedded into the minds of her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, according to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, J. D. and Nellie Hayes. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Lester Ray Edwards; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Tonya Fell, of Greenback; son, Johnny Fell, of Lexington, Ky.; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Pat Edwards of Oak Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Velda and Jim Potter, of Springfield, Va.; nine grandchildren, Alicia and Chelsea Fell of Greenback, Amberly and Katelin Fell, of Hiwassee, Ga., Luke, Ian and Elise Edwards and Kelley Parker, all of Oak Ridge and Heath Potter, of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bob Wilson, of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Evelyn Sutherland, of Karns, A.D. and Cathy Hayes, of Knoxville, Bill and Carolyn Hayes, of Powell, Jerry and Wanda Hayes, of Friendsville; and numerous nieces, nephews and other special loved ones. The family offers a special thanks to the nursing staff at Parkwest Hospital on third and fourth west. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, in Trinity Chapel at Smith Mortuary in Maryville with the Rev. Mark Grubb officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Grandview Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
