    2. Arrested on Murder Charge. Jacksboro, Term., July 25. — Silas McNeely and Marion Moses, two well known young men, have been arrested and held for trial without bond for the murder of the two boys, Mynatt and Major Hatmaker. whose horribly mutilated bodies were found in a mill pond near here last Sunday. McNeely fled after the coroner's inquest but was captured. The excitement at the preliminary trial was intense, but violence was prevented by the officers. The men are confined in jail here.
