Farmer Dies Under Tractor Druly Hayes, age 43, a farmer five miles southeast of Guilford, was killed at 6 pm yesterday near his home, when his tractor overturned while he was plowing corn. The tractor overturned while crossing a ditch and the body of Mr. Hayes was found beneath the machine by Donald Newcomer, a neighbor. The body was brought to the Campbell funeral home in Maryville. Dr. L.E. Dean, county coroner, will conduct an inquest at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Mr. Hayes was born Nov. 25, 1907, in Campbell county, Tenn. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth LaMaster, Guilford; his father, J. M. Hayes, Maysville; two half-brothers, Henry Hutson, Guilford, and James Hutson, LaMar, Mo., and two half-sisters, Mrs. Alene Hayes of Tennessee and Mrs. Anna Griggs, St. Joseph.
