    2. Theodore "Dockie" Moffette, 76, of Amherst Township, died Friday at Amherst Hospital after a long illness. Born in Campbell County, Tenn.,he grew up in Tennessee before moving to Amherst 34 years ago. He was a stonecutter employed by the Cleveland Quarries,South Amherst, for 22 years. He retired in 1974. He is survived by his wife, Mertie (nee Lackey), to whom he was married 47 years; sons, Wendell of Lorain and Wayne of South Amherst; daughters, Mrs. Allen (Lois) Henes of Amherst. Mrs. Jay (Ina) Miller of Lorain; 21 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; brothers, Monroe of Spring City, Tenn., Hugh of Robbins, Tenn., Clyde of LaFollete, Tenn.;and by sisters, Mrs. Lela Jones of Robbins, Mrs. Anna Mae Richardson and Mrs. Lillie Ford both of LaFollete and Mrs. Atlas Moore of Jamestown, Tenn. Friends may call at the Hempel Funeral Home, Amherst, today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain.
