She was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. She owned & operated Harriett's Beauty Shop in South Clinton for many years. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas E. & Nancy Foust Parrott, son, Jackie Parrott, brother, Sam Parrott & sister Lela Parrott. Survivors: daughter, Nancy & husband Jack Monroe of Heiskell; granddaughter, Donna Jackson & husband Marty of Coalfield; grandson,Dennis Skaggs & wife Terri of Georgia; great grandchildren,David & Justin Skaggs, Luke & Bronson Jackson; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Terry Baker officiating. The interment will be 2:00 PM, Sunday at Leach Cemetery. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements. MULLINS, LAUREL A. - age 78, of Caryville, Tn (Ridgewood Community) passed away March 11, 2004 at her residence. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and Lake City Eastern Star. Preceded in death by husband, Carl Mullins; parents, Simon & Dillia Kuykendall; sister, Maymie Rippetoe; brother, Ernest Kuykendall. Survivors: sons: Michael Mullins and Peter Christopher Mullins of Caryville; nieces: Laurel Rowan Vaughn & Kathleen Taylor of Cookeville. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 13th from 6 to 8 PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City with funeral service to follow at 8 PM with the Rev. Mark Acres officiating. Interment will be Sunday, March 13th at 2PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
