She was a member of First Baptist Church of Norris. Preceded in death by: husband, Hollis Smiley; daughter, Karen Smiley and son, Dean Smiley. She is survived by son, Hollis Smiley, Jr. and wife, Traci of Knoxville; daughter, Kathryn Walker and husband, Billy of Knoxville; grandchildren, Brooke, Ragan, Taylor, Peyton, Candiss, Bradley, Cody and Amber; brothers, Fred Lewelling, Ted Lewelling, Ron Lewelling, Roy Lewelling and Tony Lewelling; sister, Margaret Richardson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 11:00 AM Saturday, Berry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Seiber officiating. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery. Survivors: sons, James Ward Jr. of Knoxville, Marvin Ward & wife Karen of California; daughter, Hazel Ruth Garrison of California; sisters, Kathleen Ward of Greenville, Hazel Scott of Greenville, Grace Irene Miller of Greenville; brothers, Earl Ward Jr. & wife Virginia of Georgia, Bob Ward & wife Mary Dale of Georgia, Rev. Don Ward & wife Judy of Clinton; sister-in-law, June Ward of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews & grandchildren.
